Community Based Day Services

Our Community Based Day Services are specifically tailored to provide individuals the opportunity to participate in integrated community activities. Our Direct Support Professionals assist individuals to increase independence, fulfill personal goals, learn or improve decision-making skills, health and wellness goals, safety skills and/or social skills. Services may include a variety of community based activities and volunteer opportunities that are inclusive and person-centered. Community Based Day Services are individualized to meet the person's needs with consideration of their preferences, vision and goals. Day Service activities may include but are not limited to:

  • Volunteer activities

  • Life skills development

  • Health and wellness education

  • Community classes such as yoga, music, creative writing, martial arts, art, pottery, and cooking

  • Sporting events

  • Fitness clubs and/or activities such as walking, running, hiking, bowling, swimming, and recreational sports

  • Community outings to local attractions, beaches and parks

  • Religious services and events

  • Social skills groups

Pro-active crisis support services are offered to all individuals referred to our program. Individuals and staff will have access to our Clinical Response Team and urgent response line available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
